Branick-Section Automotive Tools and Tire Equipment

Branick Industries

Branick Industries has been a trusted supplier to the automotive, tire service and retread industry since 1923. Our equipment has been recognized throughout the world as the model for quality and workmanship.

Branick’s original family of nitrogen tire inflation tools are built with Air Products PRISM Membrane technology and are easily identified by their green color. Air Products is the world leader in membrane technology for tire inflation and Branick is proud to be the exclusive supplier of nitrogen systems with the PRISM Membrane in the U.S..

The Model 475 is the ideal solution for passenger and light truck facilities where it’s easier to bring nitrogen to the vehicle instead of the vehicle to the nitrogen. With 4.0 cfm of nitrogen output and the automatic Purge’n Flate system that allows you to inflate six tires at once…It has everything you need at your fingertips!

The Model 500 is the “backbone” of the Branick line of nitrogen generators. This tower unit with 7.1 SCFM of nitrogen output is the best value in the Branick line when you consider cost per scfm output of nitrogen.

Hit The Road

Many industries rely on nitrogen tire inflation and opt to have a unit onsite for their daily needs. NitrogenMan can supply, install and train internal staff on the use of the nitrogen tire inflation. Even many outdoor enthusiasts who have numerous vehicles such as off-road vehicles, RV’s, motor homes, motorcycles, even horse trailers are installing nitrogen systems in their homes to insure that their vehicles are ready to “hit the road” at a moment’s notice.

NitrogenMan uses equipment and products that guarantee the highest level of safety and performance while maintaining a reasonable nitrogen tire fill cost. That’s why they use products developed and manufactured by Parker Hannifin, Branick, and Haltec. All of these companies are industry leaders with a proven track record of quality assurance. NitrogenMan’s goal is to make sure that motorists stay safe on the road.

THINK SAFETY FIRST. Parker Hannifin offers nearly 80 years of experience in providing the broadest range of motion and control components and systems in the world. The company’s line of nitrogen tire inflation generators is second to none, that’s just one reason why they continue to garner accolades from top media outlets such as InformationWeek and Barron’s.

About NitrogenMan

Nitrogen Tire Inflation Tools and Supplies

tire-wheelNitrogenMan founder, Frank Ruscitti, spent 30 years in the automotive industry. He saw first-hand the benefits of nitrogen filled tires and wondered why more people didn’t choose them over compressed air tire inflation. After all, most high performance vehicles rely on nitrogen inflated tires.

Frank’s goal was to make nitrogen tire inflation available to everyone—not just those who drive for their living. In addition, NitrogenMan also offers mobile tire inflation and is a supplier and distributor of Haltec and Branick nitrogen inflation systems.

85%

tire-flatThe number of Americans that do not consistently check their tire inflation pressure, which is the leading cause of premature tire failure. Other leading causes of tire failure include:

  • Under or over inflation
  • Overheating
  • Pressure increase due to heat build-up
  • Uneven wear due to improper inflation
  • Rim corrosion
  • Rubber deterioration by oxidation

Why should I consider Nitrogen Tire Inflation?

tire-lifeBetter Fuel Consumption:
Nitrogen gas is slower than air to leak from tires because of the larger size molecule, therefore, proper inflation pressure is maintained longer ensuring a more consistent ride and better gas mileage.

tireImproved Tire Life:
Improper air pressure is one reason that tires wear improperly and quickly. Because nitrogen-filled tires maintain proper air pressure longer they provide more “even” tire regular wear.

tire-enduranceImproved Tire Endurance:
Compressed air contains moisture, so in addition to inconsistent tire’s inflation pressure, the moisture can also react with the rubber compounds in the tire, causing them to break down and lose their strength and durability.

steering-wheelImproved Tire Running Stability:
Nitrogen filled tires maintain a more consistent tire pressure; cooler running; longer tread life; less oxidation of tire components, and reduced rim and wheel corrosion.

Following are some “Frequently Asked Questions” about NitrogenMan and nitrogen tire inflation.

What is NitrogenMan?

  • NitrogenMan began as the first stand alone, drive-thru refill nitrogen tire facility in Phoenix, Arizona, and is a top supplier of nitrogen tire inflation tools and equipment.

Why should I consider filling my tires with Nitrogen?

  1. Better Fuel Consumption:
    • Nitrogen gas is slower than air to leak from tires because of the larger size molecule, therefore, proper inflation pressure is maintained longer ensuring a more consistent ride and better gas mileage.
  2. Improved Tire Life:
    • Improper air pressure is one reason that tires wear improperly and quickly. Because nitrogen tire inflation maintain proper air pressure longer, they provide more “even” tire regular wear.
  3. Improved Tire Endurance:
    • Compressed air contains moisture, so in addition to inconsistent tire’s inflation pressure, the moisture can also react with the rubber compounds in the tire, causing them to break down and lose their strength and durability.
    • Improved Tire Running Stability:
Nitrogen filled tires maintain a more consistent tire pressure; cooler running; longer tread life; less oxidation of tire components, and reduced rim and wheel corrosion.
  4. If my new car comes with compressed air filled tires, can I switch to nitrogen tire inflation?
    • Yes, NitrogenMan can purge the compressed air from your tires—along with the moisture that is found in compressed air–and refill them with nitrogen quickly and for a minimal charge.
  5. What if I have nitrogen-filled tires and I have a flat with no access to refill the flat with nitrogen, then what?
    • Normal air is about 78% nitrogen; so adding compressed air will lower the nitrogen purity, but not cause any adverse affects on the tire or vehicle as long as the tire pressure is at the proper level. The tire should be purged and re-inflated with nitrogen as soon as possible. If a nitrogen “steer” tire fill has been refilled with air, you should let the nitrogen out of the other steer tire and re-filled with compressed air until both can be purged and re-filled with nitrogen.
  6. Can I fill tires of other vehicles with nitrogen or should it only be used in automobile tires?
    • Nitrogen-filled tires are great for just about “anything that has tires,” including boat trailers, RV’s, motorcycles, trucks and more. One benefit of nitrogen tire fill is that they lose air more slowly than compressed air tires, making nitrogen a great choice for vehicles that are used infrequently.
  7. How will I know if my tires are filled with nitrogen?
    • The industry standard is to place a green cap in the tire stem—this denotes nitrogen filled tires.
  8. Will filling my tires with nitrogen negate any warranties on my tires or vehicle?
    • Absolutely not, in fact, nitrogen tire inflation is supported by Michelin, BF Goodrich, Goodyear and many more tire manufactures for its ability to better retain pressure for a longer period of time.

According to the Tire Retread Information Bureau (TRIB)

tire-retread-logo“By far, the single most critical factor for maximizing tire life and minimizing the chance of catastrophic tire failure is maintaining the proper inflation pressure for a given tire size and load. Properly inflated tires not only last longer, but also are safer. One way to help maintain proper tire inflation is to fill tires with nitrogen instead of compressed air. Nitrogen allows a tire to retain more of its original properties.”

Nitrogen molecules are much larger and less permeable than oxygen molecules so they will stay fully inflated three to four times longer, keeping tire pressure more consistent. And because nitrogen is an inert gas it is non-flammable, keeping motorists safe on the road.
